Is Semi-training right for you? here’s how to decide.
I’ve gotten a lot of questions about our new Semi-Private Training program this week.
So let me break down exactly who it’s for and how to decide if it’s right for you.
It’s Perfect If You Want More Attention Than Group Classes
Group classes are great. They’re fun, affordable, and you get coaching.
But in a class of 12-15 people, the coach can’t spend 10 minutes with you working on your squat form.
They have to keep the class moving.
In Semi-Private Training, the coach can spend that time with you. Because there are only 4 people, and each person is working on their own program.
It’s Perfect If You Have Specific Goals
If you’re training for something specific—a competition, a big lift, a marathon—you need programming designed for that goal.
Group classes are for general fitness. They work for most people most of the time.
But if you have a specific target, you need a specific plan.
Semi-Private gives you that.
It’s Perfect If You Need Modifications
If you’re dealing with an injury, mobility limitation, or any kind of restriction, trying to keep up with a class workout can be frustrating.
You’re constantly scaling. You’re not sure if you’re doing the right thing. You feel like you’re holding the class back.
In Semi-Private, the program isn’t working around your injuries – it’s fixing them.
The coach knows your limitations and programs accordingly.
It’s Perfect If You Prefer Small Group Energy
Some people love 1-on-1 training. Others find it awkward or boring.
If you’re someone who:
- Likes having other people around for energy and accountability
- But still wants individual attention and programming
Semi-Private is the perfect middle ground.
It’s Perfect If Cost Has Been Holding You Back
This is the most common reason people choose Semi-Private over Personal Training.
Personal training is $85-$70 per session. If you’re training 3x per week, that’s $840-$1,050 per month.
Semi-Private is a fraction of that cost because you’re splitting the coach’s time with 3 other people.
You still get customized programming and real coaching. You just pay less.
How to Decide
Ask yourself:
- Am I getting the attention I need in group classes? (If no, Semi-Private might be better)
- Do I have specific goals that require customized programming? (If yes, Semi-Private)
- Do I need modifications or have limitations that make group classes difficult? (If yes, Semi-Private)
- Do I prefer training with other people over training alone? (If yes, Semi-Private over Personal Training)
- Is cost a factor? (If yes, Semi-Private is more affordable than Personal Training)
If you answered yes to 2 or more of those, Semi-Private is probably a good fit.
If you’ve been thinking about it, book a consultation this week before spots are gone.
